Campaign Finance and SuperPACs

Peter Overby of NPR has won numerous awards for his reporting on campaign finance. His current focus is on investigating the tangled web of influence wielded by SuperPACs since the Citizens United decision by the Supreme Court. As you can read on his page, his business card names him as a “Power, Money & Influence Correspondent.” Here’s a link to a recent report on how President Obama has finally yielded to this new political money landscape by endorsing his own SuperPAC.

You can follow his reports on NPR to stay on top of these shadowy but extremely powerful organizations by going to his page at NPR and signing up for his podcasts.
