Good News for Child Care in the President’s Budget

Are we ready for some good news??? Given the focus on deficit reduction, it is good news that funding for child care in the federal budget was flat or even saw some increases. In general, President Obama has been more favorable towards child care and early intervention than any president in my memory (not counting Johnson, since I was only a year old when he created Head Start).

Following the process of these funding proposals could be a viable policy analysis option (if your group still isn’t sure about a policy).
