Dell’Arte Int’l Students Present “A Week Without Childcare”

Dell’Arte, in partnership with organizations working on behalf of children, has created “a theatrical response to the defunding of childcare services in Humboldt County.”

The event is being held on Friday, March 9 at 7:00 pm at the Eureka Women’s Club, 1531 J Street, Eureka. It is free to the public.

This is a wonderful example of a creative way to raise public awareness and spur advocacy around a particular issue.

It’s on my calendar. Any CD 479 students want to go and use it to spur their own advocacy efforts?
