California Legislature Announces New Resource

The California Legislature has a new website to make tracking current legislation much easier. The text search feature is VERY useful. You can go to “Bill Information” then click on the tab, “Text Search,” then search for bills in your area of interest. I tried “child” in the “All” field and “child care” and “preschool” in the “At least One” field and came up with bills changing the eligibility and focus of state preschool programs to authorizing family child care providers to unionize. Great stuff! Check it out.
